Dubai Desert Safari Was Lit, Bro!
Off-roading in the Dubai Desert is not for the faint of heart
Dubai is known for its overly ambitious skyscrapers and manufactured attractions that make no sense at all (cough:cough indoor ski resort). But the natural side of Dubai—in particular, its golden- and red-sand desert—is truly its greatest asset.
On a recent weekend trip to Dubai, I took one of the destination's many evening desert safaris. This particular excursion, arranged by Crystal Cruises, included some thrilling sand dune driving, a visit to the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve and a private sunset viewing area with champagne and strawberries. There are several other variations of this tour, some include sandboarding, camel rides, a belly dancing show, dinner and even a glamping experience underneath the stars.
