Daydreaming of Iceland

Come September, I intend to be soaking in 100-degree geothermal seawater and drinking an ice-cold Icelandic brew. I'm daydreaming about that moment right now because of this awesome picture of Scottish indie rocker, Withered Hand, on KEXP.org's song of the day page. He and his crew look like they're living the dream, don't they?

Located in an eerie lava field, the Blue Lagoon is one of Iceland’s most Instagram-worthy tourism attractions. Apart from endless photo ops, the Blue Lagoon is popular for its restorative properties and active ingredients including silica, minerals and algae that rejuvenate the skin. Its geothermal water is sourced from more than 6,500 feet beneath the surface. It doesn't get much fresher than that.
